During the month of March 2022, Wyoming will be turning on Google's Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). Two-Factor Authentication, also known as Multi-factor authentication (MFA), adds another layer of security during the login process. Passwords or pins are tied to "something you know", while 2FA is "something you have" like a physical object, such as a key, fob, or phone. 2FA is the most effective security measure against malicious actors and helps to protect users from unauthorized account takeovers and identity compromise.
